Ian Spence joined Psychologics in 2006 as their PowerPoint specialist. Since then he has collaborated closely with Dr. Sam Cohen on over 100 final presentations to clients, and numerous proposals. Most recently, he was put in charge of a comprehensive visual overhaul of the Psychologics brand, including the company logo, literature and website.
Prior to his work at Psychologics, Ian was Art Director and Senior Production Artist at Picador Group, where he created an animatic for a pilot TV show, and led a team as storyboarder and concept designer for an animated feature project.
As a freelancer he has done storyboard work and keyframe animation for Discovery and MSNBC, and has had illustrations published by MIT Press, SAMs Publishing, and Paul Mitchell Systems. He has also co-authored and drawn several comicbook projects.
Ian graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in English. He has continued his education in art at the Summer Illustration session at RISD, Comicbook Writing and Computer Animation at The School of Visual Arts, and Anatomy and Printmaking at The Art Students League.
